    ... seeing these big beautiful, intelligent animals kept in captivity. There was also a waterfall here, which we bought our swim wear for, but after seeing the colour of the water we definitely did not want to take a dip here. There were a few stalls selling souvenirs and whilst walking along we saw a red snake eating a toad - he was still alive, his eyes slowly blinking, pretty ewwwy!

    ... the pier with a pole (see picture). We arrived in ko samui and a ladyboy directed us to a transfer. We arrived at the lomarayah which is very nice but a bit out of the way, luckily there is a shuttle to their sister resort on the beach ! We will show pictures another time. We are a bit sad to leave ko tao as it was really nice and a bit less touristy, but we will make the most of samui. We had dinner on the beach when a sudden tornado came and blew ...

    Never a dull moment here, weather is superb and the water problem is ongoing, it just hasn,t rained and as good as that is for us the island needs water.
    The funny thing is even though you would imagine it to be dangerous to light fires, that is just what the locals do. The owner of the bungalows where we are staying decided to clear up the fallen leaves and branches and systematically piled everything around the bungalows and forest and set fire to it ! ...

    ... it could pass of being a bum loll I took some immature pics however :-D :-D Sorry jyoti..I know you dont appreciate things like that loll 5) mummified monk..this in one word = CREEPY! I mean the story behind it was nice..he was a local monk who use to give people advice and apparently also had healing powers.... but was there really a need to keep his real body preserved? And hes wearing shades! Like really? Which monk wears shades lol..these thais are ...

    ... only to see that it was "last call" for our flight ! We were still some 10 minutes away from our gate. We got there just in time to board, but it was a pretty close call. Assessing the situation we realized that the girl at the front desk must have given us the incorrect time, somehow.
