Well, we got our rental car today. It is absolutely massive, but unfortunately only about a third of the space is meant for people. It's like a pick-up truck with a roof. There's a narrow bench without any legroom in the back for the kids. The car rental guy just laughed when I asked if there were any seat belts in the back. I'll get Anna to upload a picture of it.

It's called Beachlounge and is by the pier in Thong Sala Compared to Koh Samui this island is far less commercial and more beautiful, we looked at a suite with outdoor jacuzzi it was only £120 a night well over our budget but you should off seen what you get for the same price as a budget London hotel!!!! The setting was great, the service good, the food was good (calamari and french fries for me, barracuda with a lovely sauce for Adri).
