... stretches we average about 70km/h. Speeds like this make for short work of a 10km x 10km island. First stop was a waterfall at a national park. It was unfortunately dried up for this time of the year but the hike and scenery of the area was spectacular. Lush jungle foliage and elevation changes are both scary and exciting! Next we headed back into town so we could head out another direction. We quickly stopped for food for the girls. They got ...

    нет ski

Today was one of the more disappointing days of our trip, with our one big activity lined up for the day turning out to be a considerable waste of time. The weather however was fine for most of the day, with a top temperature of 30 degrees Celsius.

We woke at the later time of 8:45AM, and after another huge breakfast, we made our way to our hotel room. We decided to ring "Water Edge Sports", who seem to be the only fully insured jet ski company on the island of Koh Samui, ...

... un Queensland, the waterfalls were more a water trickle, so I wasn't impressed, but Lilli was, so it was worth it to have gone.

There were elephant trekking rides at the waterfall, but as I am philosophically opposed to elephant trekking, we gave it a miss. I did wonder, though, what it must have been like to see elephants in the wild. They are a truly amazing animal.

We walked through all the tourist stalls and jumped in for the ride ...

Well the dive people were spot on. The wind picked up and became strong and gusty. I would certainly not go out boating in wind like that. The calm waters were bumpy enough. We had breakfast (with HP sauce..mmmmm..) and went back to the room. We enquired about cooking classes and were told that, yes they did have them and it would cost 1,800 Bht per person. We gave it a miss. As I started writing my entries this morning, the power went off which is not surprising given that ...
