... was almost like being back in Sumatra doing our jungle trek! We were completely on our own with only the calls of nature around us with the sunlight streaming through the trees.

Sadly we didn't go to nimbin which is famous for its student hippy drug town history as the museum had burnt down a month ago, not too bothered if truth be told. ... in Byron was really artsy and hippy like, we didn't do much over the few days but it was nice to sit back, relax and take in the cool vibe.
The one thing that stood out for us in Byron was the live music. Byron really supports street busking, so we got to see some great street acts and at night we went to the different bars soaking up the amazing music from up and coming artists.
