... 30year previous endured 500m on one straight ride, and this was not uncommon when the swell times right. Everything is a history lesson from the people you talk to. This is what makes traveling so great, share experiences with complete randomers. The coast has also it's fair share of bad movements. Byron attracts visitors, most of which are unfamiliar of the terrain. Reading the local newspaper, 2 days prior to our arrival ...

... a casual ride around Byron. We stopped off at little shops to have a look around. The afternoon was pretty chilled sat on the beach front for a bit, played Scrabble and just relaxed it was so good. And to top off the chilled day we watched a Disney movie and Iron man 3 in the tv room in the evening... Perfect end! So far Byron Bay has been our favourite stop off... We are super excited about our next places as we are loving the East Coast.

Jane cooks an amazing meal and we listen to tales of their incredible journey. Which includes, enjoying the wildlife and some hair raising moments on very poor trains.

Good company, excellent food and loads of wine see us happily off to a real bed and Ivan ...

... into a caravan park in Byron.
Travelled into the Bluesfest for the opening night and could not believe the numbers of people streaming in. It is certainly going to be a big one.
The night started with an amazing performance by Beth Hart - what a voice, followed by Grace Potter and the Nauticals. Wow! That girl can engage an audience. Popped in to see Dr John. Finished off with Ed Sharp and then John Mayer. What a way to start our ...
