... to Melba's for a free drink, and then Beer Garden. When most people hear beer garden you would think above anything, they'd have a decent beer selection - but that was just their clever naming to get people inside. This place was bordering bar and club, with one side having pool tables and the other with strobe lights... Very puzzling atmosphere. Jordan Ryan and I met an alleged rugby player for a professional team, and when his ****** off girlfriend picked him up, we made an ...

... was almost like being back in Sumatra doing our jungle trek! We were completely on our own with only the calls of nature around us with the sunlight streaming through the trees.

We stopped at a nice café near the end of the walk that looked over the hills and sea and enjoyed a well deserved coffee and an ice cold jug of complimentary tap water. In fact we have found this gesture practiced everywhere ...

... we had made as the sunrise was beautiful! Sadly we didn't go to nimbin which is famous for its student hippy drug town history as the museum had burnt down a month ago, not too bothered if truth be told. Next stop, back to where it all started to - Sydney! I only have a few days to catch up with people but most importantly Tory will arrive for the start of our 5 weeks travelling yipeeeeee ...

... in Byron was really artsy and hippy like, we didn't do much over the few days but it was nice to sit back, relax and take in the cool vibe.

The one thing that stood out for us in Byron was the live music. Byron really supports street busking, so we got to see some great street acts and at night we went to the different bars soaking up the amazing music from up and coming artists.
