Today I went to Lake of the Ozarks State Park which was very close to where I stayed the night before. I hiked several trails through the park and spent the night camping in the park's large campground. The campground was pretty dead with it being a Monday night and I got a nice campsite back in the cut very close to the river. I pretty much just hiked for much of the day. I don't think I ran ...

Today was a long driving day as I drove from Nashville, TN to Osage Beach, MO. I also ended up crossing the Mississippi for the first time in my life! Owners very rude (couldn't shower in the morning because the bathrooms were closed for 2 hours-even though ************e in park). Lake of the Ozarks very overbuilt and commercial. A hyper vibe to it. Must be crazy busy in the summer with boats zooming about on the ...

... music with his kazoo. ;)

I took a spill earlier in the day getting out of the RV (I stepped down onto the ONLY large rock in the entire parking lot and did a not so graceful prat fall onto the curb), so I'm trying to take it easy because my lower back, left hand (that I caught myself with), and my foot are all hurting. At least I didn't break anything...I haven't signed up for health insurance yet! ;)

    Made it to Missouri!

Blake's brother is a Marine stationed at Fort Leonard Wood Missouri. We were able to see him for the day and relax by the Lake a little. It is an amazing lake. It is huge and has numerous different stretches that reach out from it like a web. Very nice ...
