Arrived exhausted in Krabi town and decided in an instant to leave for Railay beach the next morning. It's a small town on the river with a few guesthouses and restaurants simply used as a jumping off point for more spectacular things. We stepped off the boat into Ko Phi Phi to see Lucy and Stuart waiting for us at the Pier. We've now left Clarke (who has gone to see his brother Matt for a couple of weeks) and will meet us for the full moon party in Ko Phangan. We took a ferry to Koh Phi Phi on Saturday, Feb. 20 and stayed for 3 nights. The day we arrived we took a long walk up to the Viewpoint #1 and #2 (which were amazing!). We then continued on to Rantee Beach which is on the east side of the island. ButI was a bit confused about what to expect about phi phi. Friends from home said it was beautiful and then people we met along the road were more guarded in their appreciation saying it was only worth a day trip etc. So we went wishing we hadn't promised 6 nights to Phi Phi
