Seems a little odd to fly from Ecuador all the way up to Miami only to retrace half our flight path back to San Jose, Costa Rica, but that's what we've done. It was the cheapest routing, if not the most direct, and netted us more mileage on an Alaska Airlines partner airlines to boot.
