... Ghost Town was opened to the public. Goldfield is filled with authentic looking buildings, including an underground mine tours and the only narrow gauge railroad in operation in Arizona. There is a General Store, the Mammoth Saloon, a bakery, jail, bordello, and more. It is an interesting place to visit for all ages.

Tomorrow is a free day to do some shopping, laundry and cleaning. We leave Mesa on Tuesday morning for Tucson.

The park has 75 campsites; 30 trails covering almost 30 miles for hiking, mountain biking and ...

      The People:
Wonderful, super friendly and no hidden agendas whatsoever! The only unfortunate thing is they really don't like having their photos taken so we only got a few with permission. They all have such happy faces - young, old, rich or poor. They are just happy people.

      The Wildlife:
This was our first 'game viewing' experience and while I am sure it doesn't come close to the big safari destinations we ...

... home for some wine and to bed somewhat early! We are not good about getting to bed when we should, but then we don’t get up till 9 or 9:30 either. Retired is good! We are both worried about our friend Tony who lives in the woods in this terrible weather. And afraid to go check on him too.
