... After our hike, we drove 210 miles, or 4 hours, to the town of Laughlin. It's a town with many casinos and hotels. The Cola rasp river runs right through. Honestly, it's basically a **** town (sorry Laughlin) used for Stop overs - but we found a way to appreciate it and make it fun. We stayed there last year and loved the remoteness of it. Definitely a change from this ...

... to Superior, walking the entire town, as we always do and visiting the Copper Gecko for consignment articles - and just inside the door I found a neat Mexican vase for the front porch. It is new and only $20 and I love it- a very good buy! Some more exploring the town and then headed home with a stop at Basha’s to get a broasted chicken for dinner. Ate at home and enjoyed it. Off to bed early-me- as I have Dr appt tomorrow morning.

... thorns stuck in your clothes. Apparently, you don’t want to pull them off with your fingers, because the barbs take hold of your skin and then you’re hooped. I found out the hard way not to go “off roading” to take a shortcut or to take pictures. The trails are all gravel, but off trail, the thorns are all over. I took two steps out of our campsite to take a picture of some birds, and it took Roger 20 ...
