          ... in the communal square outside my flat, and they are excellent. To my ears the drumming sounds West African - reminding me of an amazing troupe of Guinean drummers that I saw some years ago.The singing is quite hypnotic (there is a 30-second audio clip below). I'm not sure if the dancing is traditional or just people having a boogie when the mood takes them.

          Today in Rasdhoo, the wearher is sunny and warm. I spent the morning on the beach swimming and reading. Today until Monday, there are big celebrations on the island.           ... surprised that our seats had been upgraded for our flight to Male!! After a couple hour lay over, we finally got on the plane and we were on our way. It was a short flight, only about an hour, and we were there!!! We landed on a small landing strip that had turquoise water on both sides. I have never seen water this color before.           ... eaten in its purest form, we decided that WE were also hungry... luckily, there are Bryn-Tummy-Friendly foods here!!! So far, lunch and dinner each had a vegan Indian curry and dahl, and lots of fresh pineapple. Happiness! Nate has been able to eat a wide variety of tasty options, and there is a long buffet of vegetables, fruit and a dessert bar with ever-changing kaleidoscope of baked goodies- very good for a Nate :)
