The flight was indeed 1.5 hours and easy although the 5am taxi to the aiport was a little too early for our liking. What we hadn't factored in was the addional ferries and waiting time. We left our hostel in Negombo at 5am and arrived at the hotel in the Maldives 6pm, 12.5 hours later. I'm fairly sure ...

... and it's 30 degrees. We have a little bag packed as our cases are reportedly travelling by boat so could be a while and I have therefore packed some spare clothes, bikini and swimming shorts and importantly sun screen.
