Loved being by the pool. Beds were great! A/C might not have been cold enough for people coming from up north but good enough for us coming from Miami.

Basic amenities plus free shuttle bus and free ice. Hotel's luggage storage staff - the young lady is really unhelpful and is in contrast to the reception's welcoming and friendly attitude. They have a sundries section in case you forget your toothbrushes and basic beauty products. Food offered at restaurant not that great.

          Paper hotel

we stayed at the all star sports this spring..what a disappointment. the first night i pulled down my bedsheets to find blood stains on them! i slept with my son that night! the walls are paper thin. i could hear the people next door and upstairs flush their toilets and use the shower. at 5 a.m. the next morning i could hear people talking outside my room as if they were standing right next to me! very unhappy with the whole experience. the only good thing is the disney bus transportation to the parks. very simple and quick.

          Never Again

Where do I begin? The rooms are so small that more then 2 adults visit and you feel like youre in a closet. Housekeeping was terrible, not only couldn't they speak english they couldnt understand it either. Poor Walt Disney would turn over in his grave if he saw this mess. Last year a contagious stomach virus broke out in the resort, do you think they would quarantine the sick rooms? Not Disney World, they let the same women clean the infected rooms and clean the uninfected rooms without even changing their rubber gloves. Forget management, they blame everything the previos manager on the next manager on duty. I give the resort an F+. The + is only because the resort still has Walt Disney's name on it.

          Do Not Stay---Poor Housekeeping

My family and I just got back from our first Disney vacation. We stayed at the All Star Sports but was soon disappointed in the accomodations. We planned the trip several months in advance so we flew into the Orlando airport. The first disappointment came when we had to sit at the airport for 30 minutes waiting for the Mears Shuttle to take us to the hotel. It was 10:00pm, and I have a 6 and 8 year old really getting excited about everything and here we sit at the airport watching several Mears Shuttles take other people but us just sitting and waiting. Then we arrive at the All Star Sports, I approach the check in desk and because of some sort of a computer printer problem it takes us 50 minutes to get checked into the hotel. My husband goes to get luggage carrier and the attendent is really rude and states the he has to fill out a credit card form and has to pay 250 dollars if we do not return the luggage carrier(like we have some way of putting it on the plane back to Memphis). Then the real fun starts---open the door and there it is the King size bed for all four of us. It is also midnight at this point and I have been up since 4:30 am, I called the front desk and they informed me that we could move to a double bed room but we would have to move tomorrow since that room was already taken or we could stay and they would bring 2 roll aways but we would have to move the next day. They brought the roll aways. My husband and I moved the furniture our selfs and got the beds in there and we got to bed around 2:00am. The next day we went on to Epcot and decided we would deal with the room problem after the park since we were there to see the parks and not spend our time shuffling luggage. We got back to the room to find the we had a message of our phone stating that if we did not call a certain number by a certain time they would assume we did not want to change rooms. I called the number and explained that if they would not charge me for the roll aways that we would stay all 8 days in the room. They 3 black marks on the toilet bowel---I assumed that it was scratched the marked stayed on the toilet from Saturday until Thursday when magically they disappeared. I reallized at this point that we had been living with someone elses mess for several days in the bathroom. This is rather disgusting and disturbing to me. Also during this time, I have a bed wetting child that the housekeeper refused to change his sheets until my husband and I stripped the roll away bed for her.

          Get Me Out Of Here!

Get me out of here this is terrible and the service is terrible. We went on vaccation with my kids 10yrs and 5yrs boy's and the check in was so so long and service was horrible and my kids are fussy. When we finaly got to the room there was no fridg and the room had two bugs that we had to kill and oh my god the bathroom looked like someone just got out of the shower. We went to go eat lunch and the service was so bad we waited at least over a hour for a hamburger and fries my god we could of went to Mac Donald's. We went to the pool for a swim and talk about crowded. Then we went back into are room to get change to go to Downtown Disney which is wonderful but to get a bus to get overthere talk about a headach and kids fussy again. We went to meet up with some friends there and they are staying at All Star Music and they said it is a pain in the A** and her kids are fussy and she was telling me that the service is real bad and it took them for ever to catch a bus to get to us. Disney is Wonderful but you need to get your All-(pain) Star in order and the service and the very rude front desk girl (Amy) in order. This is real bad for Disney.

          Satisfied with Accommodations

We just returned from our Disneyland trip (May 9-16/03) & we stayed at the All Sports Resort. We found the accommodations to be very clean & satisfactory. We really liked the cafeteria style restaurant that offered a good variety of tasty & quick meals & snacks. I recommend you purchase their large cups at $11.99 + tx & then you can fill up with great coffee pop or cold ice water all day long as much as you want. (good deal when each drink is over $2.00 individually). Kids' meals are now $5.99 but if you ask for vegetables they come extra - at least $2.00 extra). You can get a decent delicious meal for $10.00 or so. Pastries are huge & delicious & fresh but cost $2-$4.Our rooms looked over the inside court as opposed to the pool areas which was quiet. First weekend was nice but into the middle of the week there was a school group that took over one pool, made a terrible amount of noise & necessitated security be posted. The staff was great & we enjoyed the beautiful & creative things the housekeeping staff did with the towels & facecloths. We were extremely impressed with the bus service within the Disney Park as a bus would show up every 15-20 minutes to go to each theme park.Guest services was always helpful & we would stay there again. A shuttle from the airport to the hotel costs $16.00 one way per person. If you rent a car, you can go out of the park, you can find great buffets starting at all you can eat breakfasts $3.99, lunch $5.99, supper $8.99.

          You have to love it

I would recomend this to any of my friends. My wife and 21 year old son stayed for 3 nights. The staff was the best. They helped with our planning, and getting to all the parks was a breeze. The buses are right at the front entrance which made it easy in the mornings after a long day before at the parks. Thumbs up to the ALL STAR RESORT. Also the security was very nice addition. Thank you for a very nice stay. Tim & Patti Barnhart

Got Pizza? The walls sure do!

I stayed at the All Star Sports complex in September of '99. I would not stay there again for the simple fact of atmosphere & cleanliness. Atmosphere - too many teenagers (in the pool all hours of the night - what's up with that?) The food court - feels like a 'free for all' (and of course, nothings "free" at Disney). Cleanliness - well, when you arrive at a hotel at 3am finally get to your room and see blood stains on the walls - you get a little put off. We moved rooms and it was explained that those where pizza stains.. "Sometimes the kids throw the pizza around"... oh, that's just great and sometimes housekeeping CLEANS THE ROOMS?

I loved the All star sports

I really enjoyed staying at the allstar sports complex in Orlando, FL. The whole Disney World experience was absolutely fabulous, it made me feel like a little kid again. I would go back any day if I had the chance, and I hope that I do. Room 2163 is the best!!!!

          You've got to be kidding

I just returned from a first time ever vacation to Disney World with my two children. In general, my kids loved this resort - we stayed in the football area. However, we did have some serious issues with the neverending NOISE we experienced. For a resort promoted for "families", the unwillingness of the staff to deal with cheerleaders (yes, cheerleaders - there was a competition in town) loudly practicing cheering right outside occupied rooms from 6:30 A.M. until after 1:00 A.M. was ridiculous. A call I placed to the front desk at 11:15 P.M. got the response of "what do you want us to do?" The other issue was pillows - don't expect to get any more than one a person unless you have an "emergency". It took three calls over two hours of time and and finally getting rude on my end before a pillow was thrown in the door by a housekeeper (My oldest son was getting over a cold and was "stuffed up" and coughing at night. I was told, we don't have enough to give you another - I've had better luck at Super 8!

          All star hotels

I had alot of fun in the all star sports hotel. It had a big pool, with lots of interesting things that hotel was so beautiful nyou would love i did it has an arcade with a food court. It also has all the sports like basketball, football, cheerleading, baseball, tennis and more. I loved that hotel, so will you have fun at the all star resorts bye.

We woke to sunshine and heat heading straight to Epcot and to the ride I knew would be Mitch's favourite - the test track where participants get to design their own racing car and then try them out on a test race track.
