Disney All-Star Music Resort Orlando

So this is my 3rd trip to disney world in Orlando. I love it every time. It never gets old. Even now, when I look back on it. The trip was so amazing. I rode the tower of terror with my band director who screamed like a girl. Haha! Then I performed in an amazing parade for thousands of people in magic kingdom right before the fireworks went off. That's Disney magic.

We arrived to our hotel mid afternoon after the mickey mouse shuttle picked us up from the airport. Door to door service and they even pick up your bags for you! The hotel was music themed and we spent the afternoon by the guitar shaped swimming pool! In the evening we went to 'downtown disney' which is an area full of themed restaurants, bars, shops on the riverfront. There was a lego shop which had loads of lego sculptures outside it. Bro called to say they were on their way to Ponderosa for breakfast. We were checking out, so had to collect our stuff, but decided to do it after breakfast. To Ponderosa, expecting the other six were already there -- no Bro -- hmmm ... Back outside, don't see them walking along the street -- woman tries to tell me I paid too much for Universal tickets -- whatever I paid, she could beat it. Wednesday was to be a 'rest' day -- Bro called and said they were headed to Typhoon Lagoon. Since we'd been late last night, we were in no rush to do anything early. We had our cereal in the room, with several coffees for me with the refillable mugs at the food court. You'd think in the food court that all the drink islands would be identical, but no, some of them had a half-and-half dispenser, I discovered! Way better then me having to rip open a bunch of those little creamer tubs ... So ......

Extra Magic Hours at MK, so up-and-at-'em in time to get there before the masses were allowed in ... Breakfast was reserved for 10:30am at the Crystal Palace.

First day: drove the 1.5 hours to Disney and checked into our hotel for the night: Disney's AllStar Music Resort. Not my favorite place, but it's clean and had a great special rate for FL residents... and the Wilderness Lodge didn't have anything available that night!
