After a night in Patong and getting home well after 4, napping seems like a logical way to spend the day. Nothing exciting here, folks! Excited to head back to the night market tonight with a different group of friends. I've added some more pictures of the night market, mostly things that I had missed the first time or things that were possibly covered due to the fact it was teaming with rain. This time we ...

Mark, Indi and I all visited Tesco Lotus again in the rented Honda Jazz the night before the Liveaboard. We stocked up on supplies for Mark and Indi snacks. The Tescos we visited in Phuket tended go be part of big shopping centres surrounded by many restaurants. One time we had a Korean BBQ buffet cooking all our own meat on a table hot plate surrounded by stock ...

... shops that change from day to night markets filled with food carts selling pad Thai, pork ball soup, mango and sticky rice and Thai tea in bags. There are tiny flags and lanterns that hang above the streets in red and gold colors. Old VW buses set up like mini bars that sell buckets of booze you can carry with you. There's even fried scorpions on a stick for sale! Outside of the popular backpackers road we took the public boat transportation to ...
