          ... Wonky jetty but the scenery was amazing these craggy Mountains are kinda awesome .... So up to reception, checking everything out on the way ... Looks good ...very neat and so quiet ...well apart from the noise of the mad men on the long tail boats So ...get to my room ...mmmm not quite what the impression was from the pictures ...shame but it's pretty damn fab !! Chilled at the beach and then on to sunset drinks and hang for a bit to find there's some sort of ...

          ... 400 baht altogether for our drinks as well - it's more expensive down here in Phuket then compared to up North in Chiang Mai or even Bangkok. For instance, a diet coke was 30 baht approximately in Bangkok, but here it's 90 baht. After lunch we sunbathed for a couple of hours, but it got a bit cloudy so we decided to walk back, and typical - the sun came back out, so it was hot and took us around 20 minutes.           ... The tourists have adopted the pedestrians come last approach to traffic control and every time we had to cross the road it felt like we were risking our lives. The one interesting thing about the scooters was the gas stations. No pumps, just simple road side stands where people had filled what looked like old liquor bottles with 1L of fuel that they sold at roughly $5 / gallon.
