Friday the 31st was Halloween and we were invited to Catherine and Steve’s new place in Williamsburg for a party. It was fun seeing what people arrived as each time the door opened. Some people went to a great deal of effort! I went as a 40’s style flapper girl and Matt as Walt from ...

We drove 210 miles in 4 hours.

      Highlights

We were still reeling from the weekend and the news from Jade that she had decided to pull out of her planned trip to meet us.....2 days prior to the departure date.

So our spirits were not particularly high when we rolled into town. Atlantic City is another one of those towns that is far more famous than it should be. It has definitely passed its prime, though looking at it ...

... to Atlantic City, but I was really not impressed with what was there. The tourist area was minimal and there were no souvenir shops as far down as I walked. The only thing available to me was a shopping mall along the beach where most of the stores had closed so it looked minimal.
