decided for better or worse to try and keep a weekly blog this year as well as
putting on any trips that we make. We have had all of last year’s blogs printed
and the book will be the second volume of our travels and, now that is printed,
we can start our new blog with the first week of December.

Saved for a whole year to take family on holiday to the lovely beach of Bardakci Bay on the Bodrum Peninsula in Turkey. Brilliant time was had by all especially our little 7 year old boy. ... When we showed up we were amazing at how nice it was. The room, the pool, the beach, it felt like paradise. There were probably only 20 people staying at the hotel so it felt like Tracy and I had the place to ourselves. We went down to the beach and did some snorkeling, and then we tried to rent some wind surfing boards but just our luck the owner was having his siesta.
We had a nice relaxing night, and were treated like royalty :)

... the boat around 11:00AM where our fun fill day began. We stopped at 5 different lagoons, where we were allowed to jump off the boat and go swimming. I now know why it is called the Turquoise Riviera . The water was actually turquoise, and so many different shades of it. ... many people and each of them told us a different thing. Turns out the hotel was 200m in front of us, down this little hill and we just couldn't see it.
