      ... size-adjust: auto;">On our drive from Naples to Fort Myers on Boxing Day we saw one mall after another with full parking lots! It's not a Statutory Holiday in the US so many businesses are open too. We also notice how the Malls & the many gated communities in the area use elaborate water features such as waterfalls & fountains to showoff how grand they are!! The recession is over here & there's a building boom on!

      ... have sold their RV and plan to return to Thailand where they will setup a home-base for their continuing 'Goodrich Odyssey”. Their 8-year journey (so far) has been chronicled at their site http://www.travelpod.com/members/goodri chodyssey.

      This diversion of catching up with old friends away from home is now over and it is time to move on to our next destination in Southeastern Florida.

      ... a bird watcher or enjoy hiking the outdoors immersed with the wildlife, I highly recommend Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary and (if you want close encounters with Alligators) the Bird Rookery Swamp Management Area. Our outings to Lovers Key State Park and Calusa Heritage Trail were also very enjoyable.
