  • Today, my team and I explored Chinatown today! We took a break from the modern concrete buildings and immersed ourselves in the old heritage with old shophouses, temples and government buildings back from the settlement's early days. We past by places like TinTin souvenirs and gifts shops, Singapore Coins and Notes Museums, Sri Mariamman Temple etc.

... of the city, saw the beautiful lights, also went to some night markets, had dinner along the river & went to the raffles hotel for a Singapore Sling. You could eat as much nuts as you wanted & chuck the shells on the floor. Apparently a good stress release after a hard day at work. Wish I could do that at home but so don't want to clean up that mess. So much more to do but only there for 1.5days. Next stop home... Travel tips coming ...

This much quieter bar had its charms but still came with the Raffles price tag. So we finished up our imported Italian beers and headed back to Clarke Quay.
