... br> Well, finally away from Cebu. It is great citing grand kids there, but not exactly a touristic hot spot. The ferry ride was just fine, about 2 hours, comfortable and fast. There was only us and two others in business class. It only cost about $2 more than regular, and regular was pretty full, but still looked comfortable enough.

... a minibus for 2 hours (14 people in a 10 person mini van with all of our luggage as well), followed by a plane from kalibo to Cebu (which was ok), then we almost got ripped off by an overly friendly taxi driver from the airport to the ferry port. ... Ian almost wretches and begins to moan about how he wanted deep fried bananas, not a can of Green Giant in a glass of milk. After Anna has stopped laughing at Ian's delicious dessert, she shares her bananas and drinks down almost half of Ian's cold-milk-corn (so that he doesn't feel bad when the waiter later asks if he has finished). We polish off the second grande to wash our mouths of sweetcorn and walk back to Citadel, hopeful for a nice beach day tomorrow.
