    Today, Thursday, August 14th, his hospital roommate Rick was released. The patients call it "breaking out" as if the hospital was a jail. So, now Bill has the room to himself.     ... throughout the therapy sessions and learning how to care for him. We do not know yet what mobility he will gain but he is determined to get back home to Beeches, me & his dog Roman ASAP. At this time, he will remain in Munson Hospital for an undetermined amount of time. He is having an understandably tough time accepting his condition.     Bill & I had a great time at dinner with Bill's family at Pearl's last evening. We were served by our favorite waitress Jen. Bill had his favorite Rib Eye steak and savored every bite. After dinner, he MADE me drive him to Village Market to pick up his favorite Dove chocolate-chocolate bars. He ate two and I ate one bar. Yum!

    ... Bear Sand Dunes NP where we hiked to the #9 Stop, Lake Michigan Overlook. The boys and Dex did the 450’ drop down the sand dune to the lake. Maggie & I met some fellow geocachers in the parking lot before we headed to North Bar Lake where we met Dex and boys after they hiked along the lake after their "big slide".
