We made it to Fiji! We left LA on Thursday and flew overnight for about 10 hours. We lost a day by crossing the International Dateline so Thursday turned into Saturday, overnight.

The Fiji Airport is like many other island airports with a lot of people wanting you to take their taxis, rent their cars, stay in their …

I had somehow been persuaded into this the ...

I bought a couple of Fijian shirts; a bright red floral number and a nice white shirt with subtle floral arrangement; pretty good shopping for F$20 each; this was even cheaper than Nadi main street which I found surprising.

Malani and I had a pie each from a Bakery; I had a large Mince Pie and Malani had a Chicken Pie – we ...

    Day 5 (Tuesday 2nd December 2014)

Another chillaxing day of sun and Fiji kicking back. Went in the pool again and Jamie and I did Water Aerobics; it was fun, not too taxing and about the level of energy I want to expend on holiday. After Water Aerobics we got some noodles and hung about in the pool floating down towards the Swim Up Bar. Deciding we needed a change we jumped into the spa ...
