I'm living in Wilmington, NC currently. My boyfriend and I decided to go to Myrtle Beach since it was raining all day in Wilmington. We headed to North myrtle, about an hour and 10 min from Wilmington, and we went to barefoot landing. We walked around for about an hour then decided to do something else. We went to broadway at the beach and went to helicopter ...

We loved this anchorage. Under-rated in the guide books. we swam; went ashore
and have great sunset and sunrise moments. This will be our last night in North Carolina, tomorrow we start our tour of South Carolina.

The Hollywood stuff you see on TV, is just that, TV. Although being exposed to all the US movies and TV series does make some of the places we visited a bit surreal. We leave with a mountain of memories and we hope to be back at some point in the future. Cheers for now

          8/10/15 - Monday

An easy, good weather travel day heading to Sunset Beach, NC and the Brunswick Beaches Camping Resort. Along the way we saw gas prices drop to the lowest of $2.089 a gallon! Wouldn't you know, both RV and Subaru tanks were full!

          8/11/15 - Tuesday

Rains were predicted so we decided to do a bit of exploring and find a nice seafood restaurant for lunch. Locals suggested Calabash, 5 miles away as the place for the freshest ...
