... highway 64 all the way to Chattanooga and then took highway 40, 63 and 62 to Mountain Home, Arkansas. I saw 4 bridges over lakes today, something I don't recall seeing in the past. I also saw a lot of dead baby armadillos today. Some are laying belly up and look like a little baby on the side of the road. Gross really, like any road kill. ... seemed to meander on forever ( long minutes at a time ) with a new view around each corner. The way our hearts were beating, I thought the next turn we would surely meet St. Peter, but we survive. This cavern was not as steep, but we weren't as young. I think that this will be our last cavern adventure. We also visited a fishing camp. It was a beautiful place to rest and a wonderful place to fish. ... bear attack - check (seems I will be singing a lot on the trails), popping up the pop-up tent - check (even though not as pop-up as I would like), making campfire coffee - huge check, She assures me that all my past experiences camping as a teenage will come back to me... we shall see soon enough.

10.5 hours is too long
... on the side of the roads that tell you "get the hell back in the lane, woman."
Plus, depending on the song, I am totally jamming out - head bobbing, fingers tapping, foot stomping... I am having good times, while looking completely ridiculous to all those around me. Must work on my driving.
Tomorrow is camping lessons from Mommala. Friday is getting the car prepped for the long trip. And Saturday I am on my way again.

After lunch, it was nap time for the gals followed by more visiting and catching up. Janet and I decided that we probably couldn’t have picked their three girls out of a lineup if we had tried.
