Extraordinary to wake up to rain. We are in the desert!! So we set off in the rain. Not pleasant driving conditions for such a long drive but the traffic was light so not too bad. Do and I woke up early to another beautiful day and went down to the park in front of our hotel to do some fitness training. The park is above the La Jolla Cove and we did our exercises to the sound of the waves, the cry of the sea birds and the barking of the sea lions on the rocks below. ... Julia, Luke and Allie. Allie had just turned 6 the day before. Julia was into rainbow bracelets and was nice enough to make me one. Remember, I ONLY have boy grandchildren. I was thrilled!
Once we left their home, we headed to La Jolla to see the seals, but since it was a four day weekend, there wasn't a parking space to be had anywhere near, so we ended up heading home.
All in all it was a nice weekend.
