    ... the way of food and souvenirs. I did 2 x
    pressed pennies but the magnets were $7-$9 which was too expensive
    for me. We left before we had a chance to try a new food at the park
    but it may have broken the ban if we had!
    Leaving early meant we could do some
    shopping for essentials like chopping board and scissors. Dollar Tree
    seemed the best option and we stocked up on essentials and extras.

    As tempting as it was to stay at this "great" campsite we decided to head back into San Diego again. Our first stop was the old town. This was like stepping back into a John Wayne film complete with a jail, school, church etc. We went into the school and there was a teacher dressed up in an 1800's dress who sat us down and acted as if we were going to school in that era. She even had us write our name on the board and read out poetry. After school we drove to Balboa Park, ...
