... exit to the shopping centre. I made it out near the big towers with the cable cars going between them and had a wonder around the harbour. Jetlag kicked in, so I headed back to the hostel for a nap. I was invited for dinner in the evening at one of my brothers friends houses who we went to school with who is now living in Singapore with his girlfriend and had his parents over visiting. It was really nice to see some familiar faces before the real travelling ...

... go out. So it is the same when they are working. They just wear casually with sandals/slippers and they are good to go. However, for women, they are more into the tradition. From what we observed, Indian women wear their traditional costume, Sari, oftenly even though they just heading out or even during work. Some women would really doll themselves up such as putting make up and wear golden jewellery.

... is my day. I've chosen to visit mainland Singapore. We plan to get the cable car over, and then explore on foot, visiting places such as the botanical gardens, raffles, marina bay, little India/china & sample some good traditional local quinine in a hawker centre. Oh and maybe squeeze in a little retail therapy! We haven't had any wifi, which is the reason for our delayed posting. Hopefully we will get wifi soon so we can publish this blog entry. Love the ...

... while we sweated it out. Then strolled across to Marina Bay, took lots of photos and the wandered around the opulent shopping centre for a while. This afternoon boys relaxed by the pool while I headed off to the Fullarton Bay Hotel with Jodie, Alex , Trish ( Richard's sister) and her husband Steve.
