      ... was Haw Par Villa. It's an amazing sculpture garden telling the stories of Chinese deities. I had heard about a lot of them already from when I lived in China, but this place made it really clear. It was originally built in 1937 by the son of the guy who invented Tiger Balm, so the vintagey, kitschy feel was incredible.       Never ever and ever never ever ever, fully rely on Google maps. This proved to be just the case when Google told us it would be a nice one hour something walk to Sentosa Island on foot. Yeah right! We walked through and out of the other side, over a walkway which looked over the lobby of the Marina Bay Sands hotel... I've never seen a hotel lobby like it! Vast is the only word I can think of to describe it, it was just so impressive.       ... The faithful stay tuned.
      We caught the express back on the Monday just in time for the official greeting from Malaysia. Manged to get all out provisioning done & washing so have decided to leave a day early. Heading off to Port Dickson then Pangkor where we hope to leave the boat, Have managed to get a good fare home & arrive in Wellington on the14th so see you soon after that. Tired so off to bed.
