The flood caused more damage to the carpet and walls than to any of our belongings, so that was ok.
However the asbestos scare was incredibly scary but when the tests came back we were assured that the amount of asbestos exposure was minute (California has tight laws and thus had to be cleaned/sorted even with such low levels-thank goodness) & that our time of exposure was so short that we should have nothing ...

We got back fairly early and the boys went to try a different pool and I went for a nice long walk. I was able to come back, relax and have my iced tea in a wine glass on the deck and read my book.

I am having trouble loading some of the pictures now as the wifi in the room is very spotty at night. I will continue to add pictures when I have a ...

The kids were itching to get to the beach, so after dinner, we let them change into their suits, and we all hit the beach. The water was very cold, but they didn’t seem to mind. While they didn’t completely dunk in, they enjoyed it plenty. Mark ...
