... Book of Life which Josefina liked and I thought was OK, then caught a free Trolley bus to the bottom of South Beach, then a bus to Downtown to watch Miami Heat! We booked tickets in advance for about $20 each which although up in the rafters gave us a good enough view and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the Heat win! 2 days was definitely enough for Miami. Day 1. Following our breakfast of 2 pieces of white toast with a coffee and completely ignorant waitress, Alex and I decided to explore on foot. We went to the main Art Deco district on 'Lincoln Road' to try and capture some great photos. It seemed that neither of us have a natural eye or talent for photography, so instead we stopped for coffee. We chose Starbucks over Paul's endeavouring to embrace ...

... s Art Deco almost as far as the eye can see. It's actually really beautifully maintained, and hasn't been built over by modern monsters. So it has quite a low rise, festive look about it. Visited the Wolfsonian - FIU museum ... More Art Deco and an interesting exhibition on the change from farm based to mass produced food in the US. Home to the hotel for a swim ... But even too hot by the pool for me to stay long. It's a shame all my ancestors were bog dwelling ...
