    ... that does the City Loop. As we weaved our way through the streets we received an audio commentary detailing Miami's history and the significance of various buildings. Downtown Miami really only came of age in the 80's with massive commercial developments led by banks in particular. We carried on through the ritzy suburbs of Coconut Grove (where the TV show Burn Notice is filmed) and Coral Gables. All I can say is there are some amazing buildings ...

    ... and would be on the way in a bit. We got through Customs and then had to shuttle out to our rental car. By the time we got to Hertz and our car waiting with Jay's name above it, it was just about 2 hours from when we got to the gate. There's an advantage to not travelling internationally - not having to spend hours with Immigration & Customs, etc.
