... at sailaway, everyone around the pool with lively calypso music blaring and drinks flowing. Today we caught the tender boat over to cococay an uninhibited island in the Bahamas, it was so beautiful with white sand and bright blue water, firstly we went for a swim where it was quite shallow in the bay, there was many people on the island because our boat the majesty of the seas and its sister ship the monarch of the seas had both stopped at cococay for the day. There are plenty of comfortable places on board where you can find solitude if you want it. There is also a full programme of events going on, if you choose to partake. As with most holidays, they are what you choose to make them. ...

... so that I don’t get caught in the crew trap of going to the same old places every time. It also means I’ll have something to write about here – so you can hold me to that promise.

As I close this entry, we’re heading south west from Fort Lauderdale, towards Jamaica and Cuba. I think we go between them and down to Aruba, probably passing Haiti on the way. The weather is great so I might go and catch some rays while it’s still sunny.

The day we had been dreading had arrived and I sensed a real sadness desending over us all. We had all got on remarkably well; which considering the age range of 11 - 56 yrs was quite amazing. With all our clothes packed it was time to sort out the rubbish from the stuff we could take to the charity shop.
