Continental Plaza Playacar Playa del Carmen

We made our way via ferry from the mainland over to Cozumel (about 30 minutes) found a hotel and hit the town for some window shopping and drinks. We next moved south to Playa del Carmen (about 1 hour drive), originally a small fishing town, tourism began with the passenger ferry service to Cozumel, an island across the Cozumel Channel and world famous scuba diving destination.

The thunder rolls on and every now and again we are greeted with lightening in the distance. Eventually Andrew joins me and we watch this storm roll past. ... by the time we got home it was 3am. Sydney fell right back to sleep, and we got to bed at about 3:45am... then thanks to Sydney sleeping the whole flight, she got up at 7:45am. ugh. We're already all unpacked, clothes washed, groceries bought, and back to normal, back to boring routine at home. At elast it's only for another 5 weeks, then we're off again. And in a few weeks we have our next ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby! yay!
