... the guidebook, we found Boquete to be only somewhat pretty, unexciting and overpriced, and decided instead to head down to our next, prefered destination -- Panama City.

On first impression, I think I like this city. It´s huge -- 20 km from end to end, and it seems that the things we want to see are actually spread out over that whole space. But it should be interesting. Panama City has also ...
Panama City, Panama kimandjohn... day. THe program is the same for every operator. What makes the difference is how they deliver.
We came about this one called Jampan Tours and "Chuck" was there giving us his sales pitch.
He assured us that unlike others operators, he would go early so that we would be the first at Dolphin Bay to see the dolphins, that his people, unlike others, would tell us a lot about the places we would go and be real guides ...

London, England, United Kingdom wista2009... that event, as myy eardrums blew out.. 2. If we did indeed ditch into the Pacific, I might not be able to get it open again. Looking forward to the next availale exit, ten seats and 20 bodies ahead of me , it was a grim reminder that it needed to open. I decided it would open and I would now search for my ¨Salvavida¨life jacket. Without putting too fine a point on it, Try this Sit in a chair, lift you knees to your chest, then try and find something ...
Contadora Island, Pearl Islands, Panama thomasgillam... part of the city, amador causeway (a touristy section that are islands connected by landfill) and miraflores locks. Miraflores locks is where you go watch the large ships pass in the canals. This is where the ships enter and water is pumped in to the holding tank until it rises to the level of the other side. This was quite impressive and during the course of one hour I saw three ships pass. Basically, it is rather quick considering the lift these massive ...

Panama city, Panama dan66... Then the usual smalltalk about what you do, how long you're travelling, where you're going etc. All up, Taboga relies on tourism a lot in the high season, and when you're there during the week in the low season, EVERYONE stares and thinks 'What are you doing here!', but it has its charming streets, hike up to Cerro de la Cruz (which I didn't complete due to rain and taking the wrong way), nice beaches in picturesque spots.
Panama City, Panama bigjohn... time on the caribean. i got rained on for two days but when the sun came out it was charming. I met buddy boy , Will from colorado. Panama City, Panama drodier... t enough guests to support many businesses. We stayed at a couple's house on one end of the island and just walked everywhere. Contadora is a small island. Really small. Too small. We blew through all the places to eat and kinda worried where our next meal would come from. The little grocery store they have makes the selection at a corner 7Eleven seem bountiful in comparison. The beaches are amazing, though, and the snorkeling was world class.
