    Hello Family & Friends,

    Thank you all so much for your kind farewell wishes as I embark on this exciting new journey to the United Kingdom.

    I especially want to thank all of you who came from near and far to attend my London Send-Off party, as well as those who sent in loving farewell messages.

    Something went awry last night as when we woke up the house was freezing. Had I put a bit more thought in before going to bed I might have noticed that it wasn't just the lamp by my bed that had stopped working, but all the power outlets in both my room and Hayley and Ruth’s.     I went to the gym with Crystal in the morning and tried the oddest machine - a stair walker where it is essentially an escalator with rotating steps that you walk on. Have you ever tried walking up stairs for twenty minutes? It's knackering. I rather overdid it though and have pulled a few muscles. Oops.
