Day Ten began with a delicious breakfast and
then the short drive to Shannon Airport to drop the rental car and begin

D-I-L and grandson drove us to Bush International in Houston
(after a wee detour to retrieve G's forgotten hearing aids) and then
they headed for Boerne, Texas to attend family graduations. The flights
to Newark and then on to Shannon were uneventful. Sound didn't work on
G's movies but oh ...
... supermarket HEB to get our desired supplies for the weekend (brie, saint agur, ice cream, all the essentials…) and stuff to make fajitas with for dinner.
Had a good meal and a chilled out evening, even booked up a hotel for Hayley and I in Fort Worth for our travel days next week. All in all a very successful day! And I got to spend it all with my cuz which is the whole reason we’re here, so I’m a happy bunny ...
... so we will be at the airport at 4am. (Ruthie doesn't know that part!). The rest of the posse, including our girls fly out at around 10am. I went to the gym with Crystal in the morning and tried the oddest machine - a stair walker where it is essentially an escalator with rotating steps that you walk on. Have you ever tried walking up stairs for twenty minutes? It's knackering. I rather overdid it though and have pulled a few muscles. Oops.
