... Mike and his family arrived soon after us. We went to the davenport hotel to look at the Christmas trees that they auction off for certain charities, they were pretty, but it was incredibly busy. We then headed to the Spokane Arena for the game. It was awesome. We were so close and saw plenty of jams up against the glass. We had som drinks and everyone had a great time. We are all through security. Some are eating. All are excited! Next stop Minneapolis! I have to say Delta did some clever filming. You know when the attendants give directions- seat belts, no smoking and such- this flight was by video. It was very funny. Lots of clever little things ...

After the interview we pressed on to arrive in Davenport around 3:00pm after walking 37 miles - grateful for Anne who had gone on ahead and gotten the air conditioners running and our extra gear already carried into our rooms. A hot bath with Epsom Salts, muscle rub, and awaiting Subway sandwiches was all we needed before falling into bed. More tomorrow.
