    • Wed, June 18: Visit the Louvre, then Palace of Versailles on our way to our hotel on the Seine, which just happens to be a Holiday Inn (free with points)

After the interview we pressed on to arrive in Davenport around 3:00pm after walking 37 miles - grateful for Anne who had gone on ahead and gotten the air conditioners running and our extra gear already carried into our rooms. A hot bath with Epsom Salts, muscle rub, and awaiting Subway sandwiches was all we needed before falling into bed. More tomorrow.

... it may have had something to do with what happened just before...

As I bought my ticket, I clocked the Ben & Jerry's counter. Decided to have the Chocolate brownie, hot fudge sunday with whipped cream and chopped nuts. It was HUGE!! As I went to go into the theater, the usher (for the sake of this story, we shall call him C*NT) told me I couldn't bring the desert in. He said the cinema has it's own food on sale upstairs. How the **** was I supposed to know that?? ...
