It has been such a great trip to Coeur d'Alene to visit the Brandon's and Johnson's. I met baby Jack. Who is so cute, so strong, and so sweet. We went to visit Grandma Johnson in Sandpoint yesterday and I got to hold him for a long time, He was awake and looking around and it was really sweet. I will miss being able to watch him for the next year or so, but I hope Missi and Jeremy send me lots of pictures ...
... of the their games for several years. Andrew is now age sixteen, so you can imagine the difference in the game play!
After the game, we drove to Green Bluff where we had lunch at a Fruit Farm and picked up a case of green Bartlett Pears for later use in the Marmalade process. A real find, they were, at a bargain price. My mouth waters already.
Back at home, Lynn and Daniel made several pans of fine ...
... Before leaving Montana, time for a small detour to visit the Ross Creek Giant Cedars Park, where over some 40 hectares there are many 500-years old red ceddars, some with more then 3.5 meters in diameter and 50 m high. Beautiful shapes, great pictures.
Finally a 150 Km run to Coeur d'Alene, where we are staying at the Coeur d' Alene Hotel and Spa overlooking the lake.

Would have preferred more selection in the non smoking area.
