        ... a bit over so we missed most of the Beatles show. We did find Chris and Paula as they were exiting the theater. We headed up to the Lido deck for the Love boat disco party. It was a lot of fun. The band playing was called Party with good times inc and they were very good, playing a mix of old disco songs with current songs as well.         ... at Fort Lauderdale and drove south to Miami and spent the day looking around and exploring the two cities. We even went to check out which port we needed to go to for the cruise.  Luckily I chose a hotel that is literally 2 minutes from the port!  What planning is that!! :-)   What a beautiful place Fort Lauderdale is.         ... to sell people on going on a hovercraft like contraption. As it turns out, any sort of prop in that water would be pretty quickly destroyed by the huge amount of grass and weeds in the water. Not to mention the threat of Alligator strikes.
