... 6pm for a one day hire. With all the paperwork sorted and the kayaks fitted out and us fitted with life vests we set off at 8.45. Ruth and I were in the double kayak and JJ had the single. After the very long drive it was late by the time we got to Lake Tahoe and we could only just see the lake which is huge the town is busy all year as they play on the lake during summer and then ski in winter, we passed some very big houses.
We were looking forward to waking in the morning and seeing the lake.
