... and we ended up throwing pieces of it over the deck to the fish as the staff were offended by us not finishing their special dish. Sadly our time in the Bahamas has come to an end, Beaches are just not going to be the same after visiting these amazing islands. Today we are going over to paradise island to have a look at the Atlantis resort - a resort with 5 hotels a casino and water park. ... about 1am and then the marina was shut, so he had slept in an abandoned yacht outside. We went and checked out and at about 2pm headed off for Cat Island on an overnighter, having to use the engine for about 3 hours to ensure we got through the reef passage before dark

... so did we. The weather deteriorated so we connected with Lee and Sherry to have tea on their boat, Alesto. It is a 43ft Leopard Catamaran. After tea, we had a golf cart delivered and rode to the Firefly Inn for a concert, drinks and dinner.

Riding to Tahiti Beach in the cart was fun, then the dinghy ride back to Esprit de Mer (30 MPH winds, rain, cold) about 1/4 mile off shore and then a good nights rest.

We spent two nights in Great Guana Cay and then yesterday left at noon for Green Turtle Cay where we will stay for 7 nights. There's storms with 50 knot winds predicted for the weekend and then north winds for several days after that. We're at the Leeward Yacht club and marina all safe and sound. ...
