    Treating ourselves to a 4 star resort in Xativa which lies at the foot of the castle. Simon to explore, me to relax ! Private patio, swimming pool, gym, air con, dining in jardin .will spend two nights here before our destination of Altea on the Costa Blanca beach.

    ... and an elegant black dress. I am really excited to wear them when I get back home on Sunday! They are my own souvenirs to remember Alicante by in addition to all the photos I have taken. In the evening, my classmates, my professors and I all went to a restaurant in the Barrios to eat some tapas for our last farewell dinner. I am so happy to have become friends with amazing people including the staff, professors and other students ...

    ... to try paella. We
    ordered seafood paella and it was fantastic. All of the seafood was so fresh,
    and while we ate there were various musicians in the street, and it was very
    relaxing. After dinner, we went to get Italian gelato, at a place with very
    high ratings. It was perhaps even more delicious than the gelato that I had in
    Rome. It was the perfect way to end our trip in Alicante. One more day!

    ... but being expensive and very few cheap flights it's now out of the question.
    Plan F, South of France which is still an option.
    So many places to choose from but need to take into account facilities, DIY
    friendliness, getting there incl. Fares, and security etc.
    So at the moment we're going for D but have F as a back up.
    We always said end of June would be our deciding point.
