By the time we disembarked from the ship, it was blazing hot with clear blue skies. St. Maarten is almost completely opposite ...

    So the end is near!

Ross here, writing this from the apartment we have rented for a few days up in the hills of St Maarten looking out onto the sea. Reminds us both of Carriacou!

We have had 2 good days here. The island is pretty small but we are a bit remote so a hire car has been essential although I drove on the wrong side of the road for about 200 metres till a car behind me started beeping at me! I blame the tiredness!
