... here (including myself), prancing about in a rather sophisticated manner. The dancers were accompanied by a nine-piece ‘orchestra’ using local instruments. These sounded along the lines of half a dozen dinner gongs and a load of front door chimes. We went dressed in true European style, with flowers in our hair. That seems to be the ‘cool’ thing over here. The evening was concluded with a walk along the beach in the shallow tide.

... here threw us a mini-party at the bamboo huts, singing songs, we passed the guitar around, and were the honored guests for the evening. They made it pretty special for us, we were stoked. When the woman came back in we were, luckily, the winners of the one week accommodation, and that we did not have to sit through the presentation. Praise the Lord!! We were outta there.
