... who ‘sensed’ that something bad was going to happen at the school behind the girls’ house. The women spent the night chanting, singing and banging to ward off the bad spirits and any sleep I might have had otherwise. It was quite creepy, the way they sat around a huge tree with few lights making weird noises, but not surprising. Nothing surprises me in this country anymore!

... drumming does get under your skin here! It makes you feel alive, as the dancers well knew, shaking their barely covered bottoms. The presidents finally arrived in a mass of media and security to a great welcome cheer but were ushered past the crowd. ... water is as hot as the ocean, (ok, maybe 1 degree hotter). Again it's time for Sun and relaxation. At 17h00, it's time to go back to our room, take a shower and get the bags. Everything is settled with the reception and at 18h10, François arrived to take us to the airport and to start our journey back to Portugal.

Hot sun, swimming and sunbathing

... br> By 17h00, we decided to go to the beach again. The tides is stronger than in the morning, but still, is good for swimming. Of course, it's advisable to have sunblock on your face while swimming, because the sun is still hot and it reflects on the water, burning your skin in a few minutes.

Well, it's time to head back to our room, have a refreshing shower and get dressed for dinner.
