Let the Wallinger, Williams, Robinson family re-union commence! We arrived in Bali after two flights, Krabi to Kuala Lumpur, KL to Bali. Sadly we bid farewell to Nadz (and a very dirty Mambo) at the KL airport. Flight was delayed a few times due to a major thunderstorm, but we finally made it to Kuta, Bali before midnight. Wendy and Dunc man were there to greet us and we headed to our beautiful hotel. I was not use to such luxury, after spending months in guesthouses and hostels. Felt a littl...

Anyway guys and gals, that it for now, I put some photos up on the last few entries the other day so feel free to check those out. Until we meet again, baked potata's.

Chicken from Kashmir is in a much milder curry, dried fruits added. DENPASAR, Indonesia malhotrapuneet... left you find a memorial of the 2004 bombings. Right in the middle of the streets. The names of the people killed towering above you. It is in the same spot where one of Balis most popular clubs used to be.
Within meters of the memorial you'll find more clubs. The tourist industry on Kuta seems to have recovered since the bombs fell on the city in 2002 and 2004. Apart from the above mentioned memorial there is no sign of them ever taking place at all.

... his first taste of a banana and the site brought a smile to my face ☺ There were other babies riding on the backs of their parents, which was quite a sight to see and a wonderful picture to share with friends later. Despite being frightened at first, witnessing thousands of monkeys walking around your feet and sitting upon your lap was still a once in a lifetime experience, one that I can't wait to enjoy again! I took an easy and relaxing night. I feel as if ...
Ubud, Indonesia snclark8... journey - to the coast - however, because the bus was mercifully not packed and we had three seats for two people.
The last leg of the journey (after the ferry and on the same bus on Bali, to Denpasar), was absolute hell. By that time the comfort of having one and a half tiny seats to myself had worn out, my back was sore from the odd angle that nearly all Asian bus seats are tilted at, and I could not get comfortable because, though I had one and a half seats ...
... towards the river, with the bottom level a covered platform for about twenty table jutting out over the river. And the inevitable small garden with concrete statue or altar nearby, incense burning. I resolved to come back and explore a bit more. The hotel picked me back up, and I had dinner at Abian, the restaurant next door at the Tegal Sari hotel. Beautiful, simple, crafted...the essence of what I was coming to appreciate about Bali. I went back ...
Ubud, Bali, Indonesia shorinsean... little bubble that I love, surrounded by so much love and support. It was scary to think about leaving that. How would I be in the world? What would I take with me from this experience, what would fall away? I've acquired so much knowledge and wisdom in the past 4 weeks and have definitely transformed. It's hard to describe what has happened. All I know is that I feel radiantly alive, joyful, connected to my true ...
Bali, Indonesia truddick... and my mouth was better. The next morning, I felt better!" So, how does one balance one's energy with powerful black magic? Ida Bagus explained some of the exercises he now does, such as a martial art native to Bali called bambu kuning. Far from a contact sport, apparently you can knock down multiple opponents from several meters away with only the force of your energy. He also has a tiger's eye ring which he uses as a protective talisman. I was naturally eager to ...
