      ... loves to drive so he didn't mind and it gave us a chance to see more of Wisconsin which we really enjoyed as well, so not a bad trade off. We just knew ahead of time our experience wouldn't be ideal. In the end though it was a fabulous part of our trip and we were glad we went.

      ... here. There are numerous orchards. We stopped at one today and sampled cherry everything. From cherry fudge to cherry salsa. Oh, we did leave with fresh cherry donuts in hand.       ... was always marked by the odd hardwood tree turning a brilliant yellow or orange, usually in isolation among the evergreen trees. What I saw yesterday was an embarrassment of riches, everywhere I turned acres and acres of golds, reds and oranges covered the landscape. I tried a couple of times to get a good photo, but nothing could do it justice. Now when people say 'I miss the fall colors', I will have much more sympathy for them. I would miss them ...
