... are we to get rid of our dry garbage?

You, being an astute reader, already see what is coming. Darren, being a fairly astute individual himself, had arrived at a solution that is commonly practiced on the island: just drive across the island and find someone else’s blue barrel to dump your garbage in. OK, short term this seemed logical, but if we are going to be permanent residents on Koh Lanta, we need a guilt free solution. A lifetime ...

On Phi Phi the streets are narrow with market style shops side by side and large trolley carts with 2 wheels are pushed to carry items to and fro. ...

... chili. Then we made and then ate, in order, the salad, the curry, the fish and the satay (which we took home). As you can imagine, we were stuffed before we got to the fish and hardly eat any of it. That said, the food was delicious and the green curry was possibly the best I have ever had - not bad considering that I cooked it. On the way home, we stopped off at a bar for a quick drink and then walked out to the road to get a passing ...
