      ... what... Yes readers, Nicky is sleeping peacefully next to me having already fulfilled her blog duties by selecting today's pics for you. I am listening to Lumineers and feeling really quite happy :-) That'll do for today because we really didn't do a lot! Hopefully tomorrow we'll have news on our massive sunburn, the latest on Thai Bob's leg-chewing habit, and of course the definitive truth about Hong Thong - do they really use it as petrol here?       ... and the dogs, so it was probably time to go back anyway. They have a great set up there with lots of rescued dogs and cats, some of them are adopted by people from overseas, Rufus is going off to Canada and Spot is going to join her brothers and sisters in Stockholm. I think Niall was afraid that I'd decide I wanted to adopt one too but I can't imagine Rocky would be too happy about that!!

      We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing ...

      ... the light of day: A friend whose word I respect and trust helped me re-believe in myself. Restored my faith that what I put to paper, no matter how it seems to me, has value.       ... with a fresh mango shake in hand (fruit shakes in Thailand was the best and you could get them everywhere for about 2 dollars or 10 SEK). After our accomplishment we hiked down to long Beach again were we spent the rest of our day.

      ... relaxedness of Lanta we spent the next few in bed being poorly. Despite this little mishap, Lanta is a beautiful island and unspoilt enough to be enjoyed. I would recommend this island for families or couples who want to escape the party islands of Phi Phi and Pha-Ngan. It was just a shame we weren't really able to make the most of our five days here.
