    ... sandwich bread. We wandered next door to the bar to order a beer & I had a fireball & sprite which was warming with kick to it. There was a mother map in the bar and we were going to stick our pin in it, but once focused realised it was only of America. The barmaid came offer with a red pen, asking where we cam for , as from England we could write on a brick surrounding the map. Of course I did leave our mark in history, but not hidden away in some tiny box ...

    ... and where you can go if you are indeed too wide.. So we pulled off the road and have staked out other vehicles from the side of the road to check what everyone else is doing. The people we asked, including a truck driver, had no idea what the restrictions meant so we are going to give it a go and see what happens...     ... for the most part been terrible. As I have pointed out in the past, what we are doing is actually carrying our "small house" around with us and when we get on rough roads, everything in it bounces, rattles, creaks, and generally makes you twitch.
