... but full moon gently lighting up the sea, the questionable looks on the faces of the others, as in "Are you sure this is safe? Should we be doing this?" -- and then twenty minutes later or so, you arrive on the soft sand of a small cove, after which you make your way up a path, through the trees, as you hear the music pulsating louder and louder and louder and then you are there!

... down the darkened path with our torches out and followed the blaring music as we approached the beach.

At the far end of the beach we could see at least 20 alcohol stands which were selling thai whisky, thai vodka and every alcohol you could think of by the bucket full. Mike said he'd help Darren move everything . We don't have loads of water on site but they decided to use what we have to jet wash the area around the swimming pool. ... hilly terrain, potholed roads and the fact that often large groups of people want to travel somewhere at the same time, truck taxis were the norm on Ko Pha Ngan. The passengers would sit on the truck part at the back on two long benches facing each other. There were long handrails for people to hold onto during the bumpy rides.
Whilst Bangkok had many stray cats, there were many stray dogs on Ko Pha Ngan and several of them looked very ill or even rabid. ...

... like they were stairs. Then it got tough, if the last one to the waterfalls was a difficulty of lets say six, this one was a nine. We absolutely crushed it though! Just ripping past other hikers, pulling ourselves higher with rope, roots or whatever was in reach. The climb was its hardest about fifty meters from the top where it was climbing on jagged edges.
