Spent 4 days on this small island which is north of Koh Samui.

I'll let the pics and captions do most of the heavy lifting here.

    Highlights and memories are
Had an ocean view villa at charmchureevilla.com after complaining about the room they had given us

Rented a motorcycle one day and rode to all the various bays …

... ever, but somehow a huge pack of Oreo's fixed me haha! I'm staying in a basic hostel (with an interesting name) that I found last minute for 2 nights (1 left now) until my desired hostel has room. It reminds me of NapPark in Bangkok, and the dormies are nice too (not quite 3 lovely Geordies standard though). I am off to explore the island this afternoon, either on foot or bicycle (don't panic mum I'm not on a moped or cliff diving...). Churchy in Koh Tao ...

... Japanese Garden which was a different bay and therefore contained very different fish. We saw lots of colourful 'Parrot Fish' and whilst snorkelling we could hear them nibbling on the rocks below. It was fascinating and something we could have watched for hours. ... in Koh Tao is quite expensive -especially considering our £10 each a day budget! We had found a place online that we liked the look of, so I politely asked the woman at the dive shop attached to the cafe we were eating in if I could borrow her phone to give the place a call. Luckily he said there was accommodation left for 800 baht and he would send his driver to pick us up. This was also a bonus, as it turns out taxis on the island charge ...

    PARADISE!

... where our boatman was waiting. He reckonised us and helped us into boat. He had a can of beer in his hand which is normal out here. However when he crashed the boat on the way out of the bay into the pier we guessed he had obviously had more than 1.

Btut he got us back safe and we landed back on the beach close to our hotel.

What a lovely day on a beautiful island. If we came back we would love to stay on here.
