    ... trained in a pool first, so we spent day one messing around in a pool. The only issue was the pool was from a horror film. Filthy and unwell kept, this pool was a nightmare to any participant. We hated the pool as you came out feeling unwell. Mairead is convinced she picked up some kind of bug while in the pool. After our first dive in the sea, however, we quickly forgot all about the pool.

    ... but on the pier as you arrive are a sea of people all holding up signs and shouting at you to try and get you to their resort. We already had an idea of where we wanted to go so we found our guy and we liked his deal! So here we are, at Ban's Diving Resort. We pay for our open water diver course and get our accommodation while we do it. The course is great. I'm loving it! I was so nervous before - couldn't get my head around the fact that you can breathe underwater... But ...
