... the open window on the train. I don't think Rach could have lasted much longer. We left the station and found a taxi straight away (a tuc tuc with flashing disco lights) and after telling him the name of a guest house we found in our Rough Guide to Thailand book, we started our haggling like always. I got him down to 120 baht from 150, but wasn't going to argue too much, Rach just wanted her bed. We climbed on the back that had flashing lights all over the back of it which ...

        Siem Reap to Koh Chang

A travel blog entry by crazyjz on Jan 06, 2014

We took our chances and decided to head to Koh Chang from Siem Reap by bus. This trip is very exhausting and frustrating at times, so be prepared! Well I saw red, how dare he shout at us when we had been waiting over an hour for him!!! I was not happy and before we knew it we were having a shouting match ...

... relaxed and less pretentious than koh tao but there's still little to do and it has rained ever since we got here! Our place is a nice little hut. Concrete, warm shower and ac for £5 each near to the beach though you couldn't swim- its rockier than Worthing by the moon garden! Were staying here for one more day, then cambodia. hopefully we will be able to leave the torrential rains and do things tomorrow, the place puts on a movie ...
