    ... question, welcome to this side of the Thai society with its power games ! Anyway, we stayed at the pool until we prepared to go to da Nicola, we first had a drink and some nibbles on our balcony where Carole joined us and than we walked there. It was a real nice dinner, Nicola had some real good Magic tricks which we couldn't figure out and the pizza's were great.     ... green garden. For our last supper We had an absolute feast of Thai food; including spring rolls, sweet and sour, massaman curry and chicken with cashews.

    We had a great evening but headed to bed fairly early as we had to be up at 5 am for the airport. James really spoiled us and we won't forget his generosity. It just a shame it took 10 years to get together again.

    And so we are headed home.

    ... float" and "Kratong" refers to the lotus shaped containers that float on the water.

    I walk down the street and on the beach. There are people everywhere making the kratongs. The krathongs are small basket floats that are decorated with flowers. The 'boat' part is made from dried bread, or from the trunk of a banana tree. The bread will dissolve in a few days and become food for the fish.
