On Tuesday, I needed a break from the sun. After a bit of lazing about, I strolled down to get a midday massage, followed by a huge fish dish for two, to myself. Later, I went for a dive at Crocodile Island, with Danish Nick from Watercolours. A couple of early evening beers on the beach, dinner at The Treehouse (literally), and propping up the bar at Red Pirates with French Julian, ...
... smelly air. So as you can already imagine it’s
definitely not a very pleasant place to be and couldn’t be more different to
what I’m used to at home! The photo I’ve uploaded is one I’ve taken from the
Work the World website, it really doesn’t show what it’s like in real life, and
you can’t tell how low the ceilings are and how busy it actually is.

... of the sea and the hills in front of us, got back on the bikes to
the boat and went back for lunch. We spent the afternoon chilling on the beach
and in the sea, the water there is crystal clear. Later on in the afternoon we
got the boat over to the most well-known and photographed island, if you google
‘Gigantes’ that’s the one that will come up, it was beautiful!
Sunday was a chill out day, we didn’t
leave until 2 so ...
... so fascinating,
definitely not something I’ve ever experienced before. They’ve also been
constantly trying to feed me, which apparently means they like me! Harry if
you’re reading this I have lots of Filipino girls waiting for you if you ever
land yourself here in Iloilo HA, the girls all ask if I have a brother so I put
in a good word, something they all spent about 5 minutes giggling about!
So that was the first week ...
