... healthcare and hospitals on the other side!

I've started this blog to keep track of what I'll be doing during my time in Iloilo and to use for my portfolio when I get back to uni. Although i have no idea how to use it properly, I'll try and keep it updated so you can read about and follow what I've been doing, hopefully it works!

    At Sea

A travel blog entry by philandericaa on Mar 18, 2015

Another relaxing day at sea. Erica is desperate to get some colour. She spent the entire day lying in the sun with only a factor 4 on and still didn't manage to go very red. I, on the other hand, am burnt and now trying to keep in the shade. So not so much to report today, No alcohol has gone out the window. ... off at xx stop where I will find accommodation. I jump in the jeepney (first experience in one in a foreign city and at night) and I manage to get off at the right place and begin to wander around looking for accommodation. Nothing! I go into a bakery/café and ask them if they know of any (cheap) accommodation nearby that they would recommend. They ...

    The City of Iloilo

A travel blog entry by jonandre.chu on Oct 03, 2014

... good there in Iloilo City. There's also an SM and a Robinson's Place in Iloilo City. Iloilo City can be entered from Manila via the new airport located in the municipality of Cabatuan. There's also a delicious bibingka that's from the municipality of Balasan, but it's a 3-hour drive from Iloilo City. And there are good restaurants in Iloilo City, some are Breakthrough, Tatoy's, Deco's, etc. The main dialects of this city are Ilonggo and ...

... bloody roundabout. I don't remember any bloody roundabout on my map. I think some more about the map and realise I can't really remember anything about it except the 800 metres bit. What if I got the scaling wrong? Maybe it's only 80 metres, or 8 kilometres. I'm still thinking about the map and considering getting my iPad outta my bag, when I realise I have left the roundabout behind and now I'm walking uphill.

No way beaches go uphill, dude.

I give in, cross the ...
