We were out of luck, unfortunately, as a result of it being fruiting season, meaning the locals didn't have any need to come out in the open areas to be fed. Still, that is what the park is trying to encourage, so it wasn't too disappointing. The highlight was a day trip to Bako National Park, situated on its own island. ... for a late swim and we both realised that he too is sucking the life out of us; we were both mentally exhausted from it all.

We keep swinging; shall we stay or shall we leave. Our 'holiday' to Samui has cost us 1250 at the last count. We may get some of this back from our insurance company, but we don't know how much.
