      A éviter !!!

... including a large floating temple on a tiny lake, a large statue of the big bellied Buddha and another large temple. It was the best temple I've been to so far and there weren't actually that many people there which I found quite surprising. It's definitely worth visiting. We stopped for a drink overlooking the ocean and some small islands and then back to the beach on a tuk tuk. We had planned to stay in Koh Samui for three nights but decided we were happy with just two and ...

... accelerated the bike in the maximum and threw me against the wall, crushing me between the wall and the bike. All scared approached saying: "OMG Sarita, are you okay?". I was glued to face the wall and couldn’t speak right, but I started trying to get up. But I dropped a windowed in front of me and as I tried to get up I held on the sign and took a big electric shock. So imagine the scene: I stuck to the wall with the bike glued on me, as also glued my face in ...

... fish. We arrived around 2pm so it wasn't long before the sun went down. We met a couple from just outside of London who we invited for dinner. After showering ironically the rain started and we were greeted by a short thunder storm. Whilst this was passing we decided to play cards over some cocktails. - I was thinking of my beautiful grandparents whilst playing go fish. After drinks we headed to a local resturant along the beach ...

... many similar stories from the Thai people that we spoke to. Their wages are so low and they work 12 - 14 hour days just to survive. We ended up giving Lek a good tip to keep for herself to help out with her daughter. She was so overwhelmed and thanked and hugged us all. We went to get ready for dinner and when we got back to reception, Lek was in a golf buggy on her way up to our rooms to give Deb and I each a beautiful scarf that she had crocheted. She just couldn't stop ...
