    ... We were shocked. We went in and had sea view seats and ordered French Onion soup which had a layer of Gruyere cheese on top. Then we had an appetiser given to had of sorbet to clean our pallets apparently. Followed by steak. Which was really reasonable and probably the only time I might afford it. It was Huge!!! Half a cow on my plate and a jacket potato. So I ate the meat and left the jacket potato for lunch the next day! Perfect. So we continued our journey ...

    ... as soon as we boarded, so we dropped our carryons, and headed to Cagney's for lunch. Started with a Shrimp Cocktail, for Dad.

    Our room was very spacious. and so was the balcony. There were 2 regular chairs, and a small cocktail type table, as well as 2 loungers on that balcony...score for us!

    ... trail head to the Fred Marquis Pinellas Bike Trail. They followed the trail from Tarpon Springs, but never did find the start. As with a lot of bike trails, they are not very well marked and easier to find when on a bike. After they came home with enough fresh vegetables to make a Greek Salad for dinner, it was time to start preparing dinner.     ... hostels goes, if you are traveling during the “peak” season it isn’t a bad idea to book ahead for the major cities (use Hostelworld.com). Regardless of whether you book ahead or not there is always an option available. We found out from multiple hostels that they usually always keep an extra bed or two available for walk-ins. Just make sure you get what you are paying for and don’t be afraid to haggle with them if the place seems like it ...
