The happiest creatures here were the birds and Stephen and I spent some time watching their breakfasting antics. Seafood was definitely on the menu! ... I have a second stomach for desserts! The show was hilarious; we both really loved it. Here’s the official blurb:

“Winner of the TONYŽ “TRIPLE CROWN” for BEST MUSICAL, BEST SCORE and BEST BOOK, AVENUE Q is part flesh, part felt and packed with heart. Don't miss out to see this long-running Broadway hit! (“Part flesh, part felt” refers to the fact that you see the actors holding onto puppets.)

... As soon as Iain could see a little bit more we slowly made our way back to the visitors centre car park. An experience.
Once the rain had eased off we drove back to Atlantic City to have a meal at the Rain Forrest Cafe (see picture) and had a really nice meal. I had macadamia crusted Tilapia with rice and Iain had a beef burger. Afterwards we had a short walk along the boardwalk as the weather had cleared up and also it ...

... at the buildings it felt like we had gone back in time and you would expect to see ladies walking around in long dresses. The buildings were all painted different colours. After the hour journey home it was late afternoon but the sun was still shinning and lovely and warm. So we walked onto the beach and sat and read. Such a beautiful big beach and yet so few people using it. A great way to end a great day. We wandered back home at 7 feeling like we had a very peaceful yet rewarding ...
