    ... than what the boys were up to!

    On the 27th we checked out to the Dumbo Arts Festival that we explored last year too. We saw some studios and some artists were even set up in a real old-school boxing gym called Gleason’s. Originally started in 1937 it’s pretty famous with the likes of Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali having trained there. For lunch we had probably the best pizza I have ever eaten!     Day #1: Out of New Jersey

    We had been planning this Vermont thing since around the time we got married, which was September 20th, 2013.     ... As soon as Iain could see a little bit more we slowly made our way back to the visitors centre car park. An experience.
    Once the rain had eased off we drove back to Atlantic City to have a meal at the Rain Forrest Cafe (see picture) and had a really nice meal.     ... at the buildings it felt like we had gone back in time and you would expect to see ladies walking around in long dresses. The buildings were all painted different colours. After the hour journey home it was late afternoon but the sun was still shinning and lovely and warm. So we walked onto the beach and sat and read. Such a beautiful big beach and yet so few people using it. A great way to end a great day. We wandered back home at 7 feeling like we had a very peaceful yet rewarding ...
