Historical signs are often quite interesting regarding local events but I was especially pleased to come across the one at Champlain Park. Here, on Lake Nipissing, is where our Canadian explorers started on their way to the west. Can’t help but wonder what the countryside looked like then or the logistics involved in organizing for a trip into the unknown. They for sure didn’t have a GPS to help them find their way or a nice cozy camper van ...

... rocks. Felt great to get some exercise after sitting so much. After we set up camp at Lake of Two Rivers, we cooked our second camp dinner of the trip. It was great to meet new people and see family I had not seen in years. We also got to celebrate cousin Olivia's first birthday. It was a ...

... rained a lot and was quite cold at times. I was in Cabin A6 with Hebba the camp driver. One of my favourite things about camp was watching the chipmunks and squirrels. The majority of my time was spent in the office, answering the phone, assisting campers etc. There were definitely some crazy, busy moments especially when the camp was at its fullest. Parent tours, phones ringing, campers calling home, staff in and ...

Hello everyone! We hope that you are all enjoying summer.

14 years ago this month, my boyfriend of three months and I traveled to Europe together. People thought we were crazy! "You've only known him for three months!" But we knew it was right. We spent four weeks in France, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland. We learned a great deal about each other, we saw incredible sights, and we fell head over heels in love with one another. ...
