    DAY 15 - HOME

Saturday was our last & prettiest day on the island. I tried to take mental pictures while I ran so I could remember the beauty I got to see every day. I hope the mental picture will help me get through the cold, windy, rainy, snowy & icy winter mornings when I am out on the roads running. Ugh....I hate to even think of that! Anyway, we checked out of our condo at 10:00 am. We were able to secure a "hospitality" room for 3:00 pm. ...

I could tell she had never done anything like snorkeling before. She loved it but it took ...

I think we all learned our lesson about the sand yesterday.....I did a lot better getting in and out of the water today. Thank goodness. I figured out the best way to put on fins is ...

... us got the "Kauai Sunrise". Mango, Pineapple, Star Fruit & Coconut. Perfect treat to end a great day in paradise.

We drove back to our resort but I had Brian drive into Hanalei first to see if the waterfalls were flowing due to all the rain. Yep! They were beautiful. I took a couple pictures with the waterfalls and taro fields. I hope you like them. Tonight is relaxing at the condo and figuring out what our adventure will be ...
