... in a bar down the road with a couple of Jades friends. Guess where? Mojo. Yes the same Mojo as in Leeds. I dunno, go to Barbados and end up in the same bars as always. Typical ;)

Then it was time for Helen to head off to her next adventure, scuba diving on an island called Dominica. I was sad to see her go! Good luck with the rest of your year, I hope you have a blast.

... the scene. Due to the issues with our hostel, we could not extend our stay for another night so we had to check out of the Chesterfield. We were delighted to learn that we would be receiving a full refund of the cost of the accommodation for the trouble. The hotel did not have a kitchen, pool or laundry like the hostel did so we were compensated for that. We dragged our bags nearly 10 blocks to our new abode, Miami Hostel. After checking in and free ...

... trying to leave was incredibly difficult! Making it more uncomfortable was what the locals called the “Miami steam bath”. This occurs when there is a short downpour of rain, which then evaporates due to the high heat. It is very humid and sticky!

We both agreed that Miami was really not our scene. There is not a lot to do during the day besides lay on the beach (which we have had our fill of in the last 18 months!) and the nights ...
